Originally from Wawa Ontario, Vaughn has performed as a soloist and a chorister throughout Canada in Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa and Vancouver. He completed a Bachelors of Music at McGill University in 2007, studying with Laurence Ewashko and Michael Meraw. His previous choral experience includes the Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul in Montreal, Metropolitan United Church and Trinity St. Paul's United Church in Toronto, The National Youth Choir of Canada, and Pacifica Singers in Vancouver. His passion for choral singing comes from working with Dr. Nicholle Andrews and a group of close friends as part of a chamber choir called La Ceilagh, which was dedicated to the performance of contemporary Canadian choral music in Montreal. He is excited to have found a similar group in Phoenix.
Although he teaches as a pharmacist on faculty at the University of British Columbia during the weekdays, he prefers to spend his evenings and weekends making and sharing music with friends. In what time is left after these two passions, he can be found hiking, cycling and paddling through this gorgeous country.
