Perry enjoyed his first season in Phoenix in 2000, and then returned for three seasons (2008-2011) as singer and President. Perry was invited to return to Phoenix in 2014 and he feels blessed to make music with such a gifted group of musicians.

Perry was born in Edmonton but grew up in Richmond, where he began formal piano lessons at age seven, completing Grade 10 with the Toronto Conservatory, and then receiving his Bachelor of Music from UBC in 1979, where he studied Piano with Helen Silvester, Bob Rogers & Margot Ehling and Voice with Don Brown.  He has enjoyed a varied musical career - - teaching High School Band and Choir for 9 years in Richmond - - as a solo pianist/vocalist with Crystal Cruises, he traveled around the world, has been up the Amazon twice and through the Panama Canal 56 times over the span of 20 years - - he has been a featured soloist with three Canadian symphony orchestras - - his versatility in diverse musical styles such as Pop, Gospel, Broadway, Opera and Classical has kept him busy as an accompanist - - he has recorded and produced 6 solo CDs - - served as a church musician in the Vancouver area - - and is now the Music Director at Cliff Avenue United Church in Burnaby.   Perry has been the featured pianist at the Shangri-La Hotel in Vancouver since 2009, where he enjoys the privilege of making music on the Fazioli piano.   He will always be grateful to his parents (his Mom, a pianist and his Dad, a violinist) for making it possible for him to pursue his love of music. (www.perrydickison.com)
