Joining Phoenix Chamber Choir for his first season, Colin Jones is a young tenor pursuing an undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance at the University of British Columbia. He was forced into a school choir at the age of eight, and never looked back. He has sung with a number of local choirs, including various members of the Vancouver Bach Choir family, the UBC University Singers, the UBC Early Music ensemble, and a handful of others. Because he’s indecisive and a bit scatterbrained, he is also pursuing an undergraduate degree in Speech Science, with a view to potentially becoming a speech-language pathologist, but he knows that either way he will never stop singing. He is a fan of sci-fi and fantasy, bad jokes, the International Phonetic Alphabet, and bouncing off the walls.
